Expert Drain Cleaning in Tulsa, OK

Drain cleaning is one of the most common plumbing needs for homeowners in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Glenpool, Coweta, Sapulpa, Sandspring, and Bartlesville. Slow drains, gurgling toilets, and backed-up sinks are everyday problems here. Tulsa's heavy red clay soil swells with spring rain and shrinks in dry summers. That repeated movement shifts underground pipes, cracks joints, and opens gaps where tree roots push in. Older homes across the area often have clay or cast iron drain lines that collect grease, scale, and root growth faster than newer pipe materials. Kitchen drains fill with cooking grease. Bathroom drains slow down from hair and soap buildup. Main sewer lines back up when roots or debris block flow. King Plumber Tulsa handles all of it. Owner involvement on every job means you get a real plumber who diagnoses the actual problem, not just a quick patch. If your drains are slow or backing up, call us to get them cleared right.

Drain Cleaning FAQ

Common questions about drain cleaning in Tulsa, OK.

If more than one drain in your Tulsa home is slow or backing up, you likely need professional drain cleaning. Gurgling sounds from your toilet when the washer runs is another clear sign the main line is affected.

Yes, tree roots are a leading cause of drain clogs in Broken Arrow and across the Tulsa area. Roots enter through small cracks in aging clay or cast iron pipes and grow until they block flow completely.

A drain that clogs repeatedly in Jenks usually has grease or scale coating the inside of the pipe, not just a single blockage. Clearing the surface clog without removing the buildup means the problem comes back.

A slow drain in Bixby is a warning sign, not a minor inconvenience. Left alone, partial blockages from grease, hair, or root growth get worse and can lead to a full backup.

Yes, King Plumber Tulsa clears main sewer line clogs in Sapulpa, Glenpool, and all surrounding service areas. Main line issues often show up as multiple fixtures backing up at the same time.

Older Tulsa homes frequently have clay or cast iron drain lines that are more prone to root intrusion, scale buildup, and joint cracks from shifting clay soil. These conditions make drain problems more common and more persistent than in newer construction.

This company goes above & beyond. We were blessed to have had them referred. When lightening struck our property they were out immediately to try and help get our water back. They work hard, quickly & they clean up after themselves which is very much appreciated. They have done multiple jobs for us through this process and their work is top notch. & of course just for an added bonus, they are very kind to their customers as well. 100% recommend.

Best plumbing company in Tulsa. Installed a new kitchen faucet very quickly and efficiently. Didn't cost an arm and a leg. Great communication. We always call King.

Kary Smith Google review · August 2026

We had a local plumbing company come out to check our pipes. They said that they were going to need to replace all of the pipes and take up some of our wood floor and do some jackhammering. They quoted us $22,500. We called King plumbing for a second opinion. They snaked the pipes and didn’t see anything major. They came back the next day to put a camera the length of the pipes. He found nothing was obstructing the pipes. He recommended having a hydro jetter to clean the pipes. I recommend to anybody that has any plumbing problems to call King plumbing. Enoch is the owner and he is very very nice and will tell you the truth whether it is good or bad. He is very honest and upfront. And he is very affordable.

Enoch was super helpful - came out same day to fix a leaky shower. Ended up having to replace a cartridge and they also installed my new shower head. Very professional and just nice guys all around. Would definitely recommend.

I had such a great experience with King Plubing. They came out to look at a potential slab leak and within an hour had the issue diagnosed and told me what was going on. They explained costs, what they though had occurred, their understanding of the interior of my home's plumbing, and were very patient. I found my new go to plumber!
