Expert Water Heater Repair and Replacement in Tulsa, OK

Water heater repair and replacement in Tulsa takes a plumber who knows the local conditions. Tulsa's water supply runs hard, and that mineral content builds up inside tanks and heat exchangers over time. That sediment forces your unit to work harder, drives up energy costs, and shortens the life of the equipment. Oklahoma's winter cold snaps hit fast, and a unit already struggling with buildup often fails right when you need hot water most. At King Plumber Tulsa, the owner brings ten years of hands-on plumbing experience to every job and stays directly involved from start to finish. We diagnose the real problem first, whether that is a failed heating element, a faulty thermostat, a leaking tank, or a unit that has simply reached the end of its life. We serve Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Glenpool, Bixby, Coweta, Sapulpa, Sand Springs, and Bartlesville. Call us when your hot water stops working.

Water Heater Repair and Replacement FAQ

Common questions about water heater repair and replacement in Tulsa, OK.

Repair is usually the right move when the unit is newer and the problem is a single part, like a heating element or thermostat. Replacement makes more sense when the tank is leaking internally, corroded, or has had repeated failures.

That noise almost always points to sediment buildup inside the tank. Tulsa-area water is hard, and mineral deposits collect at the bottom of the tank, causing those sounds as water heats beneath the layer.

Watch for rust-colored water, water pooling around the base of the tank, inconsistent temperatures, or a unit that runs out of hot water faster than it used to. These are signs the system needs a professional look before it fails completely.

Yes, we serve Bixby, Jenks, and all surrounding communities including Broken Arrow, Glenpool, Coweta, Sapulpa, Sand Springs, and Bartlesville. Call us to schedule a visit at your home.

It depends on where the leak is coming from. A leaking valve or fitting can often be repaired, but a tank leaking from the body itself typically needs full replacement to prevent water damage to your home.

The owner is directly involved in every job we take on in Tulsa and the surrounding area. You get experienced hands on the work, not a crew member with limited oversight.

This company goes above & beyond. We were blessed to have had them referred. When lightening struck our property they were out immediately to try and help get our water back. They work hard, quickly & they clean up after themselves which is very much appreciated. They have done multiple jobs for us through this process and their work is top notch. & of course just for an added bonus, they are very kind to their customers as well. 100% recommend.

Best plumbing company in Tulsa. Installed a new kitchen faucet very quickly and efficiently. Didn't cost an arm and a leg. Great communication. We always call King.

Kary Smith Google review · August 2026

We had a local plumbing company come out to check our pipes. They said that they were going to need to replace all of the pipes and take up some of our wood floor and do some jackhammering. They quoted us $22,500. We called King plumbing for a second opinion. They snaked the pipes and didn’t see anything major. They came back the next day to put a camera the length of the pipes. He found nothing was obstructing the pipes. He recommended having a hydro jetter to clean the pipes. I recommend to anybody that has any plumbing problems to call King plumbing. Enoch is the owner and he is very very nice and will tell you the truth whether it is good or bad. He is very honest and upfront. And he is very affordable.

Enoch was super helpful - came out same day to fix a leaky shower. Ended up having to replace a cartridge and they also installed my new shower head. Very professional and just nice guys all around. Would definitely recommend.

I had such a great experience with King Plubing. They came out to look at a potential slab leak and within an hour had the issue diagnosed and told me what was going on. They explained costs, what they though had occurred, their understanding of the interior of my home's plumbing, and were very patient. I found my new go to plumber!
